How it Started

In 2023 we found out we were unexpectedly pregnant at 30 years old! I was working in the corporate world, and absolutely in love with it. At our 20 week anatomy scan we learned our daughter would be born with some kind of difference, though we didn't know what at the time. After she was born 6 weeks premature, 12 days in the NICU and facing an amputation we started to have a conversation about the kind of environment we wanted her to grow up in. One that was nurturing of course. One where she had room to play and explore in safety, but on her own terms. And one where she had a community around her that would push her but also teach her how to handle a major limb different confidently and with self-love at the root. 

This all prompted us to begin a project that reflected all the things we had searched for as parents when touring daycares after she was born. We found a ton of great programs and met a lot of great daycare owners, but no one had all the components were looking for in a program that I felt 100% confident leaving my girl at day after day- so we built it.
