Our Enrollment Process

1. Introductory phone call. We will talk through the program, your family's care needs, current availability, and realistic waitlist expectations.
2. Tour and family interview. Tours are scheduled outside child care hours so we can give your family our full attention while protecting the privacy and routine of enrolled children.
3. Trial play date. When a likely opening is approaching, we arrange time for your child to visit and interact with the group.
4. Enrollment offer. If the schedule, timing, and program fit align, we confirm the recurring days, start date, tuition, and enrollment requirements.
5. Space reservation and transition. The first month's tuition reserves the space. Complimentary transition visits help your child build familiarity before the official start date.

Green Acres is currently at capacity and accepting inquiries for future openings. Infant care usually has the longest wait because Oregon licensing rules limit how many children under 24 months may be in care at one time. We intentionally offer infant spaces, but openings depend on children's ages, current enrollment, staffing, and the schedule a family needs.

Joining the waitlist is the first step, but it does not guarantee a space or a specific start date. An opening must match your child's age, requested days, and the needs of the existing group. Because of that, an opening that works for one family may not work for the next family on the list.
