Waitlist

We have been incredibly fortunate to build a community of families who value the same things we do—connection, outdoor exploration, quality care, and a strong sense of community. Much of our growth has come through word-of-mouth referrals from current and former families, and we are deeply grateful for their trust and support.

Because of this, we often maintain an active waitlist, particularly for infant care. We understand that finding high-quality infant care in the Newberg area can be both challenging and expensive. Infant care requires additional staffing and licensing considerations, as Oregon regulations place unique requirements on programs serving children under 24 months of age.

As a parent who has personally navigated the search for infant care, I understand how overwhelming the process can feel. My goal is to create a program that remains sustainable while continuing to offer opportunities for infants and young toddlers to join our community. Each year, we intentionally reserve several spaces for infants to help ensure families with children of all ages have access to quality care.

If you are beginning your search, please don't feel discouraged. I am always happy to add families to our waitlist, answer questions, and help guide parents through Oregon's childcare regulations and enrollment process so they can make informed decisions for their family.

Families moving through our enrollment process can expect a tour, family interview, and trial play date. Once a space becomes available and enrollment is finalized, the first month's tuition is collected to reserve the spot. We also offer several complimentary transition visits before a child's official start date to help them build familiarity, confidence, and a sense of security in their new environment.
